Slot Drains provide a high volume water flow, with a narrow surface opening. This is perfect for not only a sleek look and finish, but also with the ability to move the same amount of water and no larger space or opening on your surface area. Comes in three options, our Micro Slot system, Slot Drain system, and Wall Slot system. Slotted Drain is a unique pipe which removes sheet flow without multiple grades or water channeling devices. The pipe is cut along a longitudinal axis, and a trapezoidal or straight-sided grate with reinforcing spacer plates is welded to form a 1 3/4 -inch-wide slot. Providing an unprecedented 11.5 square inches of water inlet area with 8 rows of slots in every valley, this perforation style allows for maximum water inlet. The 8-Slot pipe is manufactured to an overall higher wall thickness than its counterparts to allow for the same strong stiffness as pipe with fewer perforations. Moves up to 240 gallons of water per minute.
